If speculations are to be believed, AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie could end up at Tottenham Hotspur rather than Barcelona.
Barcelona tried to sign him last summer after failing to sign Gini Wijnaldum, and the midfielder has been extensively linked with a move to the Catalan club.
The presence of Fabio Paraticci at Tottenham, according to Spanish publication Sport, may play a significant part in Kessie's decision.
While at Juventus, Paraticci attempted to sign Kessie, and he may be able to do so at Tottenham this summer. Spurs are also more likely to cave in to Kessie's pay demands, which have been a sticking point in his contract dispute with AC Milan thus far.
Kessie presently earns roughly £1.8 million per year and is aiming for a contract worth around £6.7 million per year.
Milan have been unable to meet Kessie's wage demands and are only willing to give him roughly £5 million each year.
